Longmont
Named for nearby Long’s Peak, Longmont was founded in 1871 and maintains much of its rich cultural history today. Longmont is a diverse, multicultural city and welcomes residents to participate into the many nonprofit, civic, and cultural organizations that support the vibrant community. With over 1,500 acres of parks and open space, and only 30 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, Longmont is an ideal location for climbers, hikers, runners, and wildlife enthusiasts.
